Britespan Relocates Ontario Operations to Wingham Site
Britespan Building Systems Inc. (Britespan) is excited to announce that we have officially moved all of our Ontario operations to Wingham, Ontario!
As of June 18, 2018, Britespan has moved our Ontario administration office from Lucknow, Ontario over to our newly constructed facility at 688 Josephine Street North, Wingham. The 32,000 square foot building houses Britespan’s state-of-the-art fabric buildings & structures facility, and now all of our administrative departments.
This is the third operating facility that Britespan has added to their Wingham site. In addition to the fabric and administration office, Britespan’s manufacturing and distribution facilities are located in the same vicinity.
“We moved the staff and departments all to one site location to create a more communicative environment,” says John MacDonald, Vice President of Operations. “We expect increased synergy and support by leveraging this opportunity for everyone to work directly with each other. Our culture is built around team and supporting one another. This was another strategic move to foster this environment,” says John.
Moving to the new facility also allows greater flexibility to accommodate the company’s growth. Britespan’s administration team currently consists of 22 employees. With expectations to expand in varying departments, the move will allow for a smooth transition.
Britespan’s expansion and growth continues to contribute to Huron County’s manufacturing industry and the local economy by creating more jobs. “We are committed to both our employees and our community and as such, this was a key factor in deciding to expand locally.”
