Title: Marketing Leader
Reporting Manager: President
Direct Reports: 1+; Digital Marketing Specialist

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000
Primary Location: 688 Josephine Street, Wingham, ON
Standard Hours: 8 am – 5 pm; Monday – Friday
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel throughout Canada and US to support business needs.
Ability to work Remote: As per company policy

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Managing Director of Global Sales and with the support of the (Digital) Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing and Communications Leader is responsible for developing and implementing companywide marketing activities including social media, corporate image, website, SEO campaigns, and much more while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to manage projects. International travel for dealer conferences, endorsements, content creation, tradeshows, etc. is a requirement of the role.

Position Qualifications:

Education & Knowledge

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or college diploma with extensive experience in one of the above fields

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior marketing role
  • 5 years’ experience overseeing marketing department (similar role)
  • Exceptional experience managing people and process
  • Working with marketing automation platforms
  • Proficient managing Google Ads, WordPress website templates, CRM platforms (HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Creating marketing material using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Organizing tradeshows
  • Social media marketing, both paid and organic
  • Experience using Canto – Asset
  • Agricultural / building sector background – Asset

Communication

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creating writing
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to executives, cross-functional teams, key stakeholders and external partners
  • Ability to develop positive and constructive external and internal relationships
  • Bilingual (English & French) – Asset

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and executes effective campaigns to market new and existing products; identifies key performance metrics and undertakes regular analysis to track the effectiveness and measure the ROI of marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Identifies target markets and develops effective social media strategies to communicate and connect with various market segments; develops and administers a comprehensive marketing database for the collection and analysis of demographic data to build a solid understanding of our customers
  • Manages Britespan’s internet presence including overseeing the websites and employing best practices for search engine optimization
  • Provides quality assurance oversight to ensure that messages and materials are accurate, appropriate, and consistent with the brand
    Seeks out and builds effective relationships with vendors & suppliers of marketing products/services
  • Monitors market trends and activities of the competition to identify opportunities/key issues
  • Prepares the corporate marketing budget for executive approval; effectively manages the budget and provides quarterly budget updates
  • To ensure that Britespan is widely recognized as the premiere brand of fabric buildings in the geographic areas in which we operate
  • To contribute to a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Maintain knowledge of Britespan’s products and services as well as being responsible for brand management and corporate identity
  • Work closely with third-party agencies and manage all special projects
  • Troubleshoots and manages Britespan’s CRM platform
  • Coordinate customer video recording/collection; works with marketing coordinator to guide content editing, producing, and promotion
  • Other duties as assigned
